Privacy Policy
Effective September 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Middlebrooks Enterprises LLC, doing business as Eaveline Lighting ("Eaveline," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information collected through eavelinelighting.com, our chat widget, and communications about our lighting services.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, service address or ZIP code, project details, and messages. When you opt into text messaging, we also maintain your consent choices and related records.
Our website hosting and communication providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, and the time of a visit. The chat widget may use cookies or similar storage to operate and maintain a conversation. We use Google Analytics to understand website visits and interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes information such as pages viewed, device and browser details, and referral sources. We do not enable Google signals or advertising personalization for this analytics setup. Learn more in Google’s explanation of how it uses information from partner sites.
Permanent lighting designer
Our lighting designer works inside your browser. Photos you upload stay on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else. Your designs and the rooflines you trace also stay on your device unless you send us the price form.
When you type an address to measure your home, your browser sends it, including partial text for suggestions as you type, to Oregon Metro’s public address search (the Regional Land Information System). The map location it returns, and sometimes the house number and street from your address, are then used to look up your building outline in Metro’s map data, hosted on Esri’s ArcGIS Online. The designer does not send that address to us. Oregon Metro and Esri handle it under their own policies: Metro’s privacy policy and Esri’s privacy policy.
The price form in the designer is a HighLevel/LeadConnector form. When you send it, LeadConnector receives what you enter in the form, your design and estimate details (package, estimated roofline length and price range, pattern, colors, and a link that recreates the design on our sample home, never your photo), any campaign tags that brought you to the site (such as UTM tags or an ad click ID), and the page you sent it from.
The designer uses your browser’s local storage to remember whether you closed or sent the price form, so it does not keep reappearing, and session storage, which clears when you close the tab, to remember the campaign that brought you to the site and your last roofline estimate (length, stories, and how it was measured). None of this holds your name, phone number, email, or address, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it. We never send your name, phone number, email, or address to Google Analytics.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, coordinate lighting installations and service, provide customer support, maintain consent and opt-out records, protect our services, and meet applicable legal obligations. We send promotional text messages only when you have expressly opted into that program. Providing a phone number or requesting a quote does not, by itself, authorize promotional texts.
Mobile information and SMS consent
We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers to support customer service and deliver communications on our behalf. Text messaging opt-in records and consent are excluded from any other sharing and are not provided to third parties for their own use.
SMS consent is specific to the business and messaging program identified when you opt in. It is not transferred to another business for its marketing.
Service providers and required disclosures
We use providers such as Cloudflare for website hosting and HighLevel/LeadConnector for chat, forms, and communications. They process information as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights, security, or safety. These disclosures do not authorize third-party marketing with your mobile information or SMS consent.
Your choices
You may decline SMS marketing and still request information or purchase services. Reply STOP to a message to unsubscribe from the SMS program. Reply HELP for assistance or contact info@eavelinelighting.com or 503-501-5925. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. We will respond as required by applicable law and may verify your identity first.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking storage may affect chat functionality. External websites linked from our site have their own privacy practices.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request, provide services, maintain business and consent records, and satisfy legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no online transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it.
Policy updates
We may revise this policy by posting an updated version and effective date here. A policy change does not create new SMS consent or expand an existing opt-in.
